Projects
Action with a focus on outcomes

Each month, Vision North Port holds a community meeting where attendees are encouraged to talk about their visions for North Port.  During these meetings some great ideas come forward and the attendees get together to discuss them and see if they can help to implement them. These Discussion Groups meet and put some “meat on the bones” of the ideas, and determine the next steps.   Vision North Port supports these groups by facilitating the development of positive outcomes, suggesting where collaborative efforts will enhance the development, and supporting an ongoing communication forum for the group and, if requested, the general public.

After the group gets organized and has defined its goals and objectives, it becomes a Project of Vision North Port. These projects develop through ongoing citizen engagement and evaluation of the citizens' vision for the future of North Port.  Vision North Port continues to support the project until such time as it is completed or is in a position to stand on its own.  Vision North Port is committed to ensuring the successful completion of all projects it undertakes by focusing on positive outcomes.

As you look at the links under the Projects heading you will be able to read about some of our successes.  To request more information on Discussion Groups and Projects, please contact us at info@visionnorthport.com
