We invite you to attend a meeting and bring your ideas for making North Port a better place to live! Vision North Port is your friends, neighbors, elected officials, volunteers, retirees - anyone and everyone who is inspired to create a stronger sense of community.
Meetings are held monthly on the 4th Wednesday from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. The meeting schedule typically includes a social period (5:30 - 6:00) followed by announcements and updates on current activities and committee progress. The floor is then opened for discussion about what the attendees would like to see in North Port. This is your opportunity to discuss those ideas you have been thinking about but were not sure who to discuss them with.
After the ideas are presented, groups are formed to discuss the individual ideas for approximately 15 - 20 minutes. A spokesperson for each group then reports to everyone present what the group discussed and what action items (if any) they agreed to act on. The meeting then adjourns with the opportunity to stay and mingle.
